The moment I started reading Scott’s poetry, I was captivated by its beauty; every line struck a chord in its own way. In 76 pages, you learn about some intimate moments in Scott’s life. One of my favorite passage’s in the book (which was extremely difficult to pick only one) was:
“Do the hands mean anything when the sky withdraws?
Will the rescue rope impact a universe?
Connection is a pile of stumps
escalating to a landscape view of moments
streaking infinity to impact like an asteroid.”
Instead of giving away too much, I urge poetry readers to check this book themselves. His words take you on an unforgettable journey.
